Mao

Mao at 3 weeks:
Mao's first pictures are simply lovely. He was the first Savannah that we chose. His cute face seduced us, and his white belly, along with his black nose, immediately charmed us for they are characteristics that we wish to see showing up in our babies. *

Mao at 2 months:
We notice that he's still got his black nose, and his spots are more apparent. Let's not forget his white belly. We see the start of the "Fuzzy" phase in his fur, which is a temporary and natural protection for some baby felines against predators in their natural environment. *

Mao at 3 months:
He unveals a little funny side of himself. He never stops growing and amazing us on each picture we get of him. His fur is getting more and more golden, even if he's still in his "Fuzzy" phase. *

Maoat 4 months:
The back of his head is very well-defined, especially for a 5th generation Savannah. his Ocelli are clearly visible as well, along with his white belly, this is all pretty rare for an F5 cat. *

Mao at 5 months:
Still getting bigger and bigger, he is now ready to come live with us. His spots are very clear now, showing 2 tones. *

Mao at 5 months and-a-half:
At last, Mao has arrived home, just before the holidays. We were very surprised by his height, his musculature and, nonetheless, his kindness.

Mao at 6 months:
He loves to play with us and talks a lot. We are still not over the fact that he's so tall and he has such a magnificent fur, an aspect that is rather rare for a 5th generation Savannah.

Mao at 7 months:
He is very curious and he plays a lot. After some intense playing acton, Mao is resting and waits for us to go pet him.

Mao at 8 months:
Mao's a funny boy. He loves to show off his muscles while stretching as long as possible. Mao is an accomplished hunter, knowing how to hide and seek and pulling tricks on us. We suspect he's doing it on purpose and liking it.

 

Mao at 9 months:
Mao doesn't stop growing and now weights near 15 pds. He poses proudly for us to see the muscles and how tall he is.

 

Mao at 10 months:
Mao's always on hunting mode when playing with his little mouse. His size is quite something and visitors are astonished. His measurements are (approx.) 23,5" long and 14,5" from ground to shoulder (without any stretching).

 

Mao at 11 months:
Mao just love all catnip toys! He turn crazy and so funny. His back of the head is very beautiful exceptional for a F5. Very well defined black stripes and dark ocelli. All these characteristics are going to give superb babies.

 

Mao at 1 year:
Mao is now one year old, but still love to play with his little mouse. When it's not within sight, he's looking for it and call for it. It's very funny to see him like that. Mao is becoming more and more affectionate with us, even if he already was, we won't complain. Happy Birthday Mao!!!

The next pictures of Mao will be at a 6 months interval, since the biggest changes are taking place in the first year. He will now only grow and put on some more muscles.

 

Mao at one year and a half:
Mao is a very funny boy, always making us smile by the way he sleep or play. He's very gracious and we can see all his strong muscles at work.

Mao at 2 years old:
Mao is now 2 years old and he's still a hard player. He is very big and tall and heavy. Always very affectionate and funny. Happy Birthday Mao!!

The next pictures of Mao will be at 1 year interval.
